An Omaha Classic
This place is quite well-known, but it's been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. If anyone is visiting from out of town or is new to Omaha, I always tell them to go to Ted and Wally's . It's uniquely flavored, homemade, quality ice cream. The most known location is in the Old Market, where it's been since two years after the founding in 1984- it was originally located down Interstate 80 in Lincoln. A few years ago, they opened a second location in Benson. Their flavors range from Vanilla Bean and Dutch Chocolate to Salty Seahorse (my personal favorite) and Buttermilk Blue Cheese. They're always changing, but they post every morning on their Facebook feed what flavors are offered that day. You can check them out here .
